Sichuan University

Overview :

Sichuan University is situated in the capital of Sichuan Province. It was established in the year 1740. Further, it was changed to a modern University in 1920s and the name “National Sichuan University” was approved in 1931. The University is one of the national universities under the Ministry of Education (MOE). It enjoyed the privilege of construction in Ninth Five-year plan period and A Double First Class University. The Chairman of the University Council is Wang Jianguo and the president is Mr. Li Yanrong. The University consists of three campuses that are Wangjiang, Huaxi and Jiang’an. It comprises of three Universities such as the former Sichuan University, the former Chengdu University of Science and Technology, and the former West China University of Medical Sciences. In the Southwest of China, it is the earliest modern institute if higher education. It has been one of the best pioneering universities in China providing post-graduate programs.

Duration :
